Wellington's bridal henna house.
Freehand henna for weddings, ceremonies and the days you will keep coming back to, drawn by one of New Zealand's most experienced henna artists. Consult first, always, so the design is yours.

The night before, drawn by hand.
Your hands will be photographed more on this day than on any other day of your life. Saarah draws them knowing that.
Four named collections by coverage, feet to match, and a rate for the bridal party. A design consult before the day, natural paste on the day, and a stain that reaches its deepest colour about 48 hours later, right on time for the ceremony.

Whatever you are celebrating, there is a design for it.

Parties and girls' nights
Saarah comes to you. Bring the kids; there are designs for small hands too.

Corporate and cultural days
Diwali, Eid, Matariki, Christmas, team days and client events.

Baby showers and belly art
A design drawn over the bump, made for the photographs you will keep.

Henna crowns
For anyone who has lost their hair. Gentle, private and unhurried.

Festivals and markets
WOMAD, Rhythm and Vines, Homegrown, Bay Dreams, and the Newtown Festival where it all began.

Children
Quick, gentle designs with natural paste. Birthday parties and school fairs.
Placeholder portraitShe was ten, at a wedding in Chennai, and nobody else could draw the henna.
So she picked up the cone herself. She grew up gathering henna leaves for her mother's homemade paste, practised on every hand that would sit still, and never stopped. Saarah's Henna has been a registered New Zealand business since 2014, from its first day at the Newtown Festival to WOMAD, Rhythm and Vines and hundreds of Wellington weddings.
